Step 1
Getting Started: Your Secure Connection to Jira
Let's get you connected to Jira. This process is fast, simple, and most importantly, secure. We use Atlassian's official OAuth 2.0 based authentication through which you directly connect using your Atlassian account without sharing any of your credentials.
Open your Google Sheet and navigate to Extensions > Jira Data Fetcher for Google Sheets > Open Configuration. This will open the add-on sidebar.
Click the blue "Connect to Jira" button.
A new window from Atlassian will open. If you aren't already logged in, you'll be asked to log in to your Atlassian account.
You will see the list of requested permissions. "Accept" to grant the add-on permission to read your Jira data .
The window will close, and the sidebar in your Google Sheet will update to show a "Connected" status. That's it!
Your Privacy is Our Priority!
The add-on uses OAuth 2.0, the industry standard for secure connections. With read only permissions for your Jira data—we cannot modify, create, or delete any of your data. We do not store any of the data from your Jira Resource including Projects, Tasks, Issues, etc
