AI-Powered Configuration: Your Personal Jira Expert
You don't need to be a JQL wizard to create powerful reports. This feature lets you configure your entire sync just by describing what you want in plain English.
In the sidebar, locate the "AI-Powered Configuration" section.
In the text box, write a clear description of the data and metrics you need. For example: "All entries which were created in since beginning of Jan 2026 and were reported by "smart-user@mycompany.com". Fields I want are assignee name, current status, summary. I want to measure the time spent in progress and a custom metric called Lead Time showing time from Creation to Done"
Click the "Generate with AI" button.
Observe as the add-on automatically checks the correct field mappings, populates status metrics, and even writes a custom JQL query for you.
Review the configuration and click "Sync Now" to pull the data.
How We Handle Your Data with AI?
To generate the configuration, we send your text prompt and the names of your project's fields and statuses (e.g., "In Progress,", "Story Points") to a secure AI model. This data is not stored or used to train the model. Your actual issue data (summaries, comments, etc.) is never sent or used by the AI. The only entity who can view the synced data is you or the people you choose to share the sheet with.
